Nate Wood – fOUR & More

At first glance, you might be thinking, “Wait a minute. What’s a bassist doing on the cover of Drumhead?” On second thought, you might be thinking, “What’s a keyboardist doing on the cover… I mean, a vocalist… guitarist, I mean, WTF?!”

Nate Wood is all that and then some. To hear him play drums is nothing short of spectacular, and if that’s all there was to it, most would think that was enough. Equally so, if you ever caught him on bass or guitar with a number of artists, you’d think the very same, spectacular, and you wouldn’t think to expect anything more..

But nothing comes close to seeing him onstage as fOUR–his solo performance, which consists of him playing drums, bass, keyboards, effects and voice–all at the same time!

Sounds almost impossible, well, not almost, and since seeing is believing–whether or not you choose to do it now or after reading this article–a quick trip to your local computer and YouTube to dial up “Nate Wood fOUR” is highly suggested. And give yourself plenty of time, you’re going to be there for a while.
