Broomcorn Drum BrushesDrummer Butch Norton (Lucinda Williams, The Eels, Rufus Wainwright, Tracy Chapman, etc) has collaboraed with Haydenville Broomworks to give drummers more great choices for their ever-expanding aresenal of drum tools: Haydenville Broomworks' Broomcorn Drum Brushes.
Haydenville descripes these brushes as "...having a broad, flat head, with a sweeping shape based on our Turkey Wing Whisk. They are made of a bundle of broomcorn, tightly wrapped with narrow-gauge wire. The handles are made from the stems of broomcorn woven with a waxed string. This maintains the traditional woven design of the whisks, while providing a narrower handle more suited to drumming."
